Email Agent€19 / month

You say what you mean. Alex writes the email.

The Email Agent learns how you write from the emails you've sent. For every reply, Alex asks what you want to say and drafts it right in the text box. Before it goes out, he reads it over once more. Nothing is sent until you click.

Builds on the Inbox Agent

  • Never sends anything on its own
  • A writing style for each mailbox
  • Undo send
  • 3questions at most, then Alex writes the draft
  • 8 seccountdown after you hit Send, so you can still change your mind
  • 4trust signals, each one with its reason
  • 0emails sent without your click

How it works

From a blank text box to a finished reply

You keep working in the Inbox Agent. The Email Agent plugs into its reply form and takes the writing off your plate.

  1. 1

    Alex learns your style

Once you turn it on, Alex reads your most recent emails in the Sent folder. Read-only, nothing gets marked as read. Each mailbox gets its own profile with greeting, sign-off, length and tone. You keep working as usual in the meantime.

  2. 2

    Alex knows the whole thread

One click on "Write with Alex" is all it takes. Alex reads the latest messages in full, knows how you usually greet this person, knows your snippets and, with the Calendar Agent, your next three weeks.

  3. 3

Draft in the text box, polish in the chat

After three questions at most, the draft is in the reply field. Not quite right? Just say so: "shorter", "friendlier", "in German". Alex revises exactly the text that's there.

  4. 4

After you send, Alex keeps track

Promised something? Alex asks whether he should create a task for it. Waiting on someone? The follow-up watch remembers and shows up under "Important info" if no reply comes.

What the agent does for you

Less typing, less fixing, less risk

Four features you won't want to give up after a week.

Safety net

Alex reads it over before it goes out

Hit Send and Alex checks the text one more time: Is the attachment you mentioned actually there? Is the name in the greeting right? Did you answer every question? You decide whether to go back to the text or send anyway. After that, you still have a few seconds to change your mind.

  • Missing attachment, missing subject, a long list of recipients
  • Wrong name, unanswered question, conflicting dates or amounts
  • Undo send with a countdown: 5, 8 or 15 seconds

Work through

Clear your mail one card at a time

Click "Work through" and you get one thread after another, each with a suggestion from Alex: reply, file it, check it off, unsubscribe. One click or one swipe accepts it. Anything that can wait goes to "Later".

  • On your phone: swipe right to accept, left for "Later"
  • Three or more emails from one sender become a single card
  • "Back" undoes your last action

Instructions

Tell Alex in plain words what to do with an email

No rule editor: you type or dictate what should happen. Alex first shows his plan and how many emails it affects. Nothing runs until you confirm, and you can undo it. Afterwards he asks whether it should always work this way.

  • Affected emails are matched exactly by sender and subject
  • Standing rules move, complete and summarize, but never delete
  • Anything that needs a reply stays in your inbox

Trust signals

When an invoice suddenly lists a different bank account

The agent compares every email with what it already knows about the sender. If an invoice lists a different IBAN than before, the domain looks like a familiar one, or a link goes somewhere other than its text says, you see it right away, each signal with its reason.

  • IBANs recognized by checksum, in the email and in text PDFs
  • Lookalike domains: rn for m, 0 for o, a different ending
  • First contact: nothing has ever come from this address

And there's more

The small things that save time every day

Snippets that create themselves

Write the same paragraph in three emails and it becomes a snippet: business hours, bank details, how proofs work. Delete an automatic snippet and it stays deleted, even in a slightly different version. Insert from a searchable menu, right at the cursor.

Open slots and your week at a glance

With the Calendar Agent, one click inserts three open time slots: weekdays, no holidays, on different days. The week view opens right where you're writing.

Dictation

Turn on the mic, talk, done. Works in the text box and in your chat with Alex. Nothing from the recording is stored.

Catch me up

For long threads, Alex sums up in two or three sentences what's settled, what's still open and what's expected from you now.

Unsubscribe in three steps

First the unsubscribe link, otherwise an opt-out email in the newsletter's language. If mail keeps coming after ten days, it goes to junk, logged and reversible.

A place for invoices and attachments

Turn on storage and invoices from your email are filed automatically, other attachments with a click. Only you can download them, and with the Bills Agent the invoice moves right along.

Contact card, address book and suggestions as you type

Your address book fills itself, with phone numbers and addresses pulled from signatures. In each thread you see how long you've been in touch, how fast this person usually replies and what's still open.

The difference

The same reply, without and with the Email Agent

A customer asks for a meeting and a quote. Here's how the reply comes together.

Without the Email Agent

  • Every reply starts with a blank text box
  • To suggest a time, you switch to your calendar and back
  • You type your business hours and bank details again and again
  • A missing attachment only shows up when the customer asks
  • You have to remember what you're still waiting on

With the Email Agent

  • Alex asks a quick question and drafts the reply in your style
  • Three open time slots land in the text with one click
  • Paragraphs you repeat turn into snippets on their own
  • The final check flags it before the email goes out
  • The follow-up watch reminds you if no reply comes

Working together

A reply turns into a task, an attachment into a bill

The Email Agent works inside the Inbox Agent and pulls in what it needs to write. Whatever comes out of sending, it passes along.

Alex in conversation

New email? Tell Alex what it's about.

Enter a subject, click "Write with Alex". Alex asks what you want to say. Answer with a chip, by typing or by dictating. When one click is enough, the chip sends your answer right away.

  • Three questions at most, then he writes
  • "Write draft now" skips the remaining questions
  • The conversation stays in your browser and isn't stored anywhere

Questions

What you want to know first

Short, straight answers. If yours is missing, just ask us.

Does Alex ever send emails on his own?

No, never. Alex writes drafts into the text box and makes suggestions. An email only goes out when you click Send, and even then you can cancel during the countdown.

Do I need the Inbox Agent?

Yes. The Email Agent builds on the Inbox Agent and works right inside it: reply form, thread view, list. If you turn it off again, the Inbox Agent is exactly as it was before.

How does Alex learn my writing style?

He reads your most recent emails in the Sent folder, read-only, and looks at your own text without quotes or signature. Each mailbox gets its own profile. If he finds fewer than three usable emails, he tells you so and writes friendly, clear and on the short side instead of making up a style.

What happens to the text of my emails?

For drafts, the final check and learning your style, the full text goes to the language model. It's fetched from your mail server when needed, and none of it is stored. Your conversation with Alex lives only in your browser.

Can the final check hold up sending?

Never. Simple checks like a missing attachment run instantly. If the check fails or takes longer than 25 seconds, the email is sent anyway. You can turn off both the final check and undo send in the settings.

Does dictation work in every browser?

The agent uses your browser's speech recognition first, so text appears as you speak. If your browser can't do that, it records up to two minutes and then turns it into text. The recording isn't stored. Your browser's speech recognition runs through its provider.

Can rules from Alex delete emails?

No. A standing rule is only created when you say "Yes, always" after an instruction. It can move, complete and summarize, but never delete and never mark as spam. Emails that need a reply stay in your inbox.

What do I need for open time slots?

The Calendar Agent. Alex then suggests three slots on weekdays in the next 14 days, skipping holidays and using the length and lead time from your calendar settings. Without it, Alex writes just the same, only without time suggestions.

Alex writes your next reply. You click Send.

Turn on the Email Agent, let Alex go through your Sent folder once, and answer the next request in two clicks instead of ten minutes.
